well. i guess i have to split them into two cateogries: - actually recomended videos that i actually might've fallen asleep to: this applies to the two videos above relating to programming but there were a couple more in my history. in fact, i saw many comments with people saying they woke up to this playing, and when i was talking about getting long recommended videos i meant these ones + some stuff that is similar to what i really watch. still weird how this happpens, i should probably not fall sleep with my phone
- absolutely random bs that isn't related to anything i watch. they are often in a different language, AI generated, literal brainrot, pseudoscience, livestreams of either gaming or some weirdoes on the internet - it really can be ANYTHING. these are the videos that i find to be more uh... mysterious and they are the ones that disappear from my history. these ones i genuinely did not watch: there is no indication that i have ever clicked on any of them or watched any second of them.

Ukrainian forces successfully attacked Russian vehicles in the capital city of Kyiv thanks to a public tip made through the encrypted messaging app Telegram, Ukraine's top law-enforcement agency said on Tuesday. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. "Russians are really disconnected from the reality of what happening to their country," Andrey said. "So Telegram has become essential for understanding what's going on to the Russian-speaking world." Russians and Ukrainians are both prolific users of Telegram. They rely on the app for channels that act as newsfeeds, group chats (both public and private), and one-to-one communication. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has remained an important lifeline for both Russians and Ukrainians, as a way of staying aware of the latest news and keeping in touch with loved ones.
