Why not strive to become the greatest man your bloodline has ever seen?
Our people need such individuals, now more than ever. Yet, no matter the epoch one finds oneself in, endeavoring such is the most worthwhile pursuit one could ever undertake.
You being the very best is something the present times need, the gods expect, your ancestors anticipate, and your descendants demand.
Have you asked yourself, who do you need to be? What characterizes such an individual? Create your own code and take relentless action.
Limitations exist solely in man’s head and it is because man believes in them that he cannot transcend himself and reach Olympian heights.
It all comes down to how much you want it. It depends on how strong your will is.

"If you are wise, provide for your household and love your wife who is in your arms. Fill her stomach and clothe her. Oil is the remedy for her limbs. Gladden her heart during your lifetime, for she is an estate which is most important to its lord. Be not harsh, for gentleness will compel her more than unbridled strength. Give to her that which she seeks and that which draws her gaze, and she will be glad to be in your house."

This gives valuable insight into the folkish (pre-axial) worldview.
The full quote is:
"If you are among the guests of a man that is your superior, accept that which he gives to you and put it to your lips. If you look at him that is before you, the host, peirce him not with many glances. It is abhorrent to the spirit to stare at him. Speak not until he addresses you, for one doesn't know what he may hold to be an evil opinion. Speak when he asks you a question, so that your speech is held as good in his opinion. The Noble who sits with food, divids it as his spirit compells him. He gives unto each that he favors which is the custom of the evening meal. It is his spirit which guides his hand; it is the Noble that bestows unto you, not the subject which obtains unto himself. Thus the eating of bread and drinking of beer is under the providence of the Gods. He is an ignorant man who disputes these things."

Lo Saturnalia!
Tomorrow is a special season for our Roman brethren, Saturnalia!
Saturn, or Kronos, is often remembered for being the Titan who consumed the Olympian Gods as recorded by Hesiod in his Theogony. People forget that Zeus did, for a time, cast his father into Tartarus, but later showed mercy. Saturn hence resides in the Elysian Fields caring for warriors of honor.
"to the Elysian plain...where life is easiest for men. No snow is there, nor heavy storm, nor ever rain, but ever does Ocean send up blasts of the shrill-blowing West Wind that they may give cooling to men."
- Homer - Odyssey - 560-565
"They live untouched by sorrow in the islands of the blessed along the shore of deep-swirling Ocean, happy heroes for whom the grain-giving earth bears honey-sweet fruit flourishing thrice a year, far from the deathless gods, and Cronos rules over them."
- Hesiod - Works & Days - 170
Saturnalia, and by extension Saturn's day, was also a time to honor the fallen warriors, who Saturn presides over.

Cats were significant in Norse mythology, believed to possess special powers that protected against evil spirits and brought luck. This belief was linked to the goddess Freyja, associated with love, fertility, and war, who was often depicted with her two magical cats that pulled her chariot. Cats were considered sacred to Freyja, and treating them kindly was thought to bring blessings and safety.

Some reflections on 2024:
❄️After losing my fiancé who was also my best friend last year, I decided to dive back into art as a way to process and cope with my grief. Through this process, Solace Creations was born.
❄️Though being present for our daughter has saved me from my own grief in many ways and watching her grow everyday means everything to me, art has been my key source of therapy whenever I have been able to find the time for it. I am so thankful to have this creative outlet, and to be blessed with motherhood. 2 things that have shaped my identity and will continue to shape the person I become. For that I feel incredibly lucky.
❄️Although I've been creating art in various forms for over 15 years now, I was just introduced to the medium of wood burning (aka pyrography) earlier this year. I'm proud of myself for how far I've come using this medium and look forward to challenging myself next year by creating some beautiful work for myself and for anyone who supports.
❄️I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and that you really cherish the time spent with your loved ones. Life is fragile, and you never know when you will have to say goodbye. ❤️

POWERS OF THE GODS
If you ever want to be humbled, think about the great forces that our Gods and Goddesses own or are masters of. As an example, let us use the sexual force and everything else attached to it for a moment.
Do you feel that in some way you own this force the same? That you understand all that it entails? And not just understand, but know when it is active and in some way not allowing its magic take you on a path you may not want to go.
Think of a time you saw a beautiful woman and her magic begins to work on you. You get lost in it in your mind (and other places) and before you know it, you have forgotten about your wife. At that time, you have already lost. You didn't own it, it owned you.
The above is just one example of how much work one may need to do to even have slight mastery of the sexual force alone. This can be done in other areas as well. Think of wisdom. Do you always make wise decisions? Probably not. Nonetheless, it's obvious to see that those who are the closest to Wotan, or in the case above perhaps Freya, are also owners of these forces. They are loved by them because they have raised themselves up to a higher level.
Lastly, if you are one who loses often with these “powers of the Gods” that's a good thing. You now have something to work towards. What would life be if you had nothing to conquer?
