أُذَكِّر نفسي وإخواني بصيام يوم عرفة، يوم غد الثلاثاء. أيها المدخنون، بالله عليكم لا تفوتوا هذه الفرصة العظيمة من أجل الدخان! يا من عنده احتفال أو رحلة...معلش، أجِّلها االله يكرمك. كيف تفوت على نفسك فرصة هذا اليوم الذي قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم عن صومه: (أحتسب على الله أن يُكَفر السَّنة التي قبله والسَّنة التي بعده)؟! أكثروا فيه من الدعاء لقول نبينا صلى الله عليه وسلم: (خير الدعاء دعاء يوم عرفة)...ادعوا لأنفسكم وللمستضعفين من المسلمين، وللإسلام أن يعز شأنه ويخسأ عدوه. وأحسنوا بالصدقات، تفقدوا المساكين، فطروا صائمين لتنالوا مثل أجرهم، أصلحوا ذات البين، تفننوا في بر آبائكم، وتذكروا في ذلك كله قول ربكم الكريم: (إن رحمة الله قريب من المحسنين)... وما أحوجنا والله إلى رحمة الله في دنيانا أن يكون معنا ويُثَبِّتنا في هذه الحرب على ديننا وفطرتنا أن يرحمنا فيُقَر أعيننا بأبنائنا ويرزقنا ولا يسلط علينا بذنوبنا من لا يخافه فينا ولا يرحمنا وأن يرحمنا سبحانه في الآخرة يوم يُقضى الأمر فإما جنة أو نار أعاننا الله وإياكم على طاعته.

Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup. Again, in contrast to Facebook, Google and Twitter, Telegram's founder Pavel Durov runs his company in relative secrecy from Dubai. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis."
