Напомним, что суд вернул иск Авиняна против «CivilNet». Мэр также подал прилагаемое к иску ходатайство о предоставлении льготы по линии государственной пошлины. Градоначальник заметил, что госпошлина в размере 150000 драмов достаточно большая сумма, и в случае ее выплаты это причинит ему и его семье значительные финансовые неудобства. Однако суд посчитал ходатайство необоснованным.

He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. Recently, Durav wrote on his Telegram channel that users' right to privacy, in light of the war in Ukraine, is "sacred, now more than ever."
