В книжном магазине «Фаланстер» прошла презентация книги «Циммервальдская альтернатива» (Черный квадрат, 2024), вышедшей к 110-й годовщине начала Первой мировой войны. Составители и редакторы сборника Алексей и Юлия Гусева, историки Дмитрий Рублев и Ярослав Леонтьев рассказали о книге и драматической истории антивоенного движения этого периода. (Презентация, кстати, прошла 11 сентября, в годовщину чудовищного расстрела политзаключенных Орловской тюрьмы в 1941 г., унесшего жизни многих бывших циммервальдистов.)
В ближайшее время мы опубликуем аудиозапись презентации.

To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. Soloviev also promoted the channel in a post he shared on his own Telegram, which has 580,000 followers. The post recommended his viewers subscribe to "War on Fakes" in a time of fake news. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. Elsewhere, version 8.6 of Telegram integrates the in-app camera option into the gallery, while a new navigation bar gives quick access to photos, files, location sharing, and more. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback.
