Как рассказал Максим Ликсутов, проект «Искусство в метро» запустили летом 2024 года. За это время организовали более 40 мероприятий в рамках проекта на объектах столичной транспортной инфраструктуры. Участниками проекта стали около 250 художников.
Генеральным партнером и оператором проекта выступает Объединение «Выставочные залы Москвы».
