В своем выступлении Шольц отметил: «По-прежнему важно, чтобы я неустанно следил за тем, чтобы мы не принимали неверных решений. Например, когда я заявил, что мы не будем поставлять крылатые ракеты Taurus, и когда я выразил несогласие с тем, чтобы тяжелое вооружение, которое мы поставляем, использовалось для обстрела территорий в глубине Российской Федерации».
