Министр культуры Аркадий Зинов пояснил, что учебное заведение рассчитано на обучение подростков и творческой молодёжи по четырём направлениям: анимация и 3D-графика, фото- и видеопроизводство, дизайн, интерактивные технологии.
На создание школы выделили 63 млн рублей, 44,6 млн из которых пришли из федерального бюджета, 18,2 млн – из краевого.
