Несмотря на то, что жить в нем в прямом смысле слова страшно – в стенах там много трещин, от потолков отваливается штукатурка, крыша протекает – его определили в третью волну реновации, то есть, расселить его можно будет не раньше 2029 года.
Проживающие в нем люди, опасающиеся, что он рухнет еще до наступления этого срока, попытались уговорить правительство Москвы перенести их расселение на более ранее время. Но вместо этого управа их района – Басманного – лишь пообещала сделать в доме капитальный ремонт.
