شیرین سوهانی، برنده جایزه اسکار سال ۲۰۲۵، به مناسبت روز جهانی زنان متنی منتشر کرد که در آن از همراهی مردم ایران با انیمیشن اسکاری «در سایه سرو» قدردانی کرده و بر اهمیت همبستگی فرهنگی و انسانی تأکید کرده است.
خانم سوهانی با تأکید بر لزوم همکاری و اتحاد، آورده است: «هرکجا نقصی بود دیگری پر می‌کرد، هرکجا یکی خسته می‌شد، دیگری به جای او می‌دوید و این گونه دوستی و رفاقتی شکل گرفت که دیگر ما در آن، زن یا مرد نبودیم. رقیب نبودیم، هم تیمی و هم جبهه و یار هم بودیم و هستیم. پیمان ما بر این است که عشق را آلوده‌ی هیچ رقابت و قدرت و سیاست نکنیم.»
او همچنین ایرانیان را به همبستگی بیشتر دعوت کرده و نوشته است: «بیایید ما اولین‌هایی باشیم که دست از جنگ و رقابت زن‌ها و مردها برمی‌داریم، با هم یکی می‌شویم و زن و مرد در کنار هم، انسانیت را پاس می‌داریم.»
او در پایان ابراز امیدواری کرده و نوشته است: «امید که در این همبستگی فرهنگی، بستری فراهم شود برای شکوفایی آن همه قابلیت، خلاقیت و استعدادهای پنهان ایرانیان که فرصتی برای جوانه زدن و رشد هنوز پیدا نکرده‌اند.»

Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee. Groups are also not fully encrypted, end-to-end. This includes private groups. Private groups cannot be seen by other Telegram users, but Telegram itself can see the groups and all of the communications that you have in them. All of the same risks and warnings about channels can be applied to groups. Just days after Russia invaded Ukraine, Durov wrote that Telegram was "increasingly becoming a source of unverified information," and he worried about the app being used to "incite ethnic hatred." Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands.
