Евгений выжил — у него ожог рук. У машины, стоящей в шести метрах от места взрыва, отлетела форточка, она упала на водителя и тот отполз внутрь салона. Затем выполз в поле и услышал ещё один взрыв. КамАЗ загорелся (на видео). Через поле Евгений вышел к ближайшей деревне.
