Атаке подвергся военный склад в Исфахане и предприятие по производству моторного масла в городе Азаршахр. Удары нанесли также по штаб-квартире КСИР, базе спецназа КСИР "Кудс", нефтеперерабатывающему заводу, заводу по производству оружия, военным базам в Хамадане и Кередже.

Жертв в результате ЧП нет. Минобороны Ирана не сообщает, кто подозревается в атаке. Однако известно, что в конце декабря Израиль предупреждал о начале военных действий, если дипломатически невозможно будет договориться о сдерживании ядерной программы Ирана.
