Наш земляк родился в селе Трусово Усть-Цилемского района, проживал в деревне Мыла. Служил в должности стрелка-помощника гранатомётчика мотострелковой роты.
Борис Семёнович проявил беспримерное мужество и самоотверженность, сражаясь за независимость и неделимость России, за наш народ и за мир без нацизма. Он совершил бессмертный подвиг, отдав за Родину самое дорогое, что есть у человека, - жизнь.
