Законопроект «О применении положений УК и УПК РФ на территориях ДНР, ЛНР, Запорожской области, Херсонской области» приняли в третьем чтении. Теперь «преступность и наказуемость деяний», совершённых на этих территориях после 30 сентября 2022 года, будут определять на основе уголовного законодательства РФ. Впрочем, только в том случае, если это не ухудшает положение привлекаемых лиц.
Кроме того, новый закон предусматривает освобождение от ответственности за преступления, которые совершены «в защиту интересов» РФ, ДНР, ЛНР, Херсонской и Запорожской областей, а также их жителей.
