Ровно 30 лет назад, 31 января 1995 года, указом президента Абхазии Владислава Ардзинба было создано государственное информационное агентство «Апсныпресс» для освещения событий, происходящих в республике и за ее пределами. Кадровый костяк новой структуры составили сотрудники ликвидированного в то же время Министерства информации и печати.
