Очевидцы говорят, что в Москве уже ужесточились проверки, задержания и депортации мигрантов из государств Центральной Азии. Следует ожидать более частых проверок на улицах, рейдов, облав и т. д.
Нельзя также исключить, что дело об убийстве генерала даст предлог для новых репрессивных законов против мигрантов, как было после теракта в «Крокус Сити Холл».

Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals.
