Прошел первый большой тест на конкурсе "Лидеры России. Политика". Видно, что организаторы многое улучшили по сравнению с предыдущими разами. В этот раз тест действительно про лидерство. Впечатления немного двойственные. Смысл отдельных тестов по лидерским-управленческим качествам не вполне понятен, но во всяком случае дает представление о ценностях и приоритетах каждого участника. Знаниевые тесты - относительно простые, хотя были и загогулины, но в целом без заведомо неберущихся вопросов. Тесты на понимание сути текстов, на мой взгляд, слегка унылые и заумные. И, конечно, нужна крайняя внимательность к постановке вопроса (в одном тесте это очень явно прослеживалось). Жду результата. Завышенных ожиданий в этот раз у меня нет, буду рад любому результату. Но, конечно, хочется в кои-то веки пройти в полуфинал. Спасибо, что в этот раз обошлось без цифири на скорость и без лютых квадратиков с треугольниками.

At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. Lastly, the web previews of t.me links have been given a new look, adding chat backgrounds and design elements from the fully-features Telegram Web client. Overall, extreme levels of fear in the market seems to have morphed into something more resembling concern. For example, the Cboe Volatility Index fell from its 2022 peak of 36, which it hit Monday, to around 30 on Friday, a sign of easing tensions. Meanwhile, while the price of WTI crude oil slipped from Sunday’s multiyear high $130 of barrel to $109 a pop. Markets have been expecting heavy restrictions on Russian oil, some of which the U.S. has already imposed, and that would reduce the global supply and bring about even more burdensome inflation. Since its launch in 2013, Telegram has grown from a simple messaging app to a broadcast network. Its user base isn’t as vast as WhatsApp’s, and its broadcast platform is a fraction the size of Twitter, but it’s nonetheless showing its use. While Telegram has been embroiled in controversy for much of its life, it has become a vital source of communication during the invasion of Ukraine.
