Представлять Астрахань в сборной будут Анастасия Рябцева, Ксения Ильина, Анна Кайнарова и Варвара Юрьева.
Тренировочный процесс возглавит главный тренер сборной Людмила Бодниева. Примечательно, что помогать ей будет наставник «Астраханочки» Михаил Измайлов, который входит в тренерский штаб национальной команды. Этот факт подчеркивает высокий уровень подготовки гандболисток в астраханском клубе.
