Если б не случайно заказанный набор в Hello Fresh, так не узнала бы, что небо и земля — не набор слов, а целое название для северонемецкого блюда.
Обычно состоит оно из картофельной пюрешки, тушеных яблок, жаренного лука и кровяной колбасы. Нам вместо последней дали тюрингскую (чтоб мужа не шокировать, видимо, мы, удмурты, например, к такому привыкли уже) и редис с горчицей в качестве салата.
Почему же небо и земля? Толкуют так: яблоки у нас с деревьев, то есть с неба, а картофель, соответственно, из земли. А еще, согласно некоторым из диалектов, Äädappel (картофель) дословно переводят как земляное яблоко.
