Как передает ynet, Ротман заявил семьям похищенных: «Я молюсь, чтобы Бог послал мужество всем лицам, принимающим решения в Государстве Израиль, чтобы они как можно скорее прекратили эту зловещую сделку, вернулись к борьбе и открыли врата ада для ХАМАСа».
Он добавил: «ХАМАС ведет против нас психологическую войну во время сделки». По его словам, террористическая организация заранее планировала прекратить освобождение заложников в середине сделки.
