Мы уже были в Введенском переулке (ныне Подсосенский) у дома Алексея Викуловича Морозова. Сегодня мы смотрим, как выглядел переулок с этой изящной колокольней. Она была возведена в 1878 году архитектором Павлом Петровичем Зыковым вместо старой изветшавшей колокольни. Зыков частично разобрал её и построил новую в стилистике древнерусской архитектуры.
В 1929 году храм Илии был закрыт, колокольня разобрана. Здание церкви занял Музей искусств народов Востока. Геометка.
