В настоящее время проходит государственную историко-культурную экспертизу раздел об обеспечении сохранности объектов культурного наследия (Хутынского монастыря и Памятного знака бойцам 229 Стрелковой дивизии) в проектной документации газопровода к Вечному огню. Эксперты дали положительное заключение. До 6 марта идут общественные обсуждения.
