Если кто помнит, одноэтажная «Аврора» курсировал между двумя столицами 47 лет до 2010 года, пока ее полностью не сменил высокоскоростной «Сапсан». В июне на Петербургском экономическом форуме РЖД представили обновленную двухэтажную модель «Авроры» и заявили о планах вернуть ее на маршрут. И вот выяснилось, что это произойдет уже через пару месяцев.
Поезда будут отправляться два раза в день: утром в 6 часов и днем в 13 часов 50 минут. Время в пути составит около 5,5 часа — на 1,5 часа дольше, чем на «Сапсане». Внутри — полный комфорт-комплект: кресла с поворотом на 180°, климат-контроль и главное — розетки и разъемы USB-C.
