Ранее сообщалось, что победитель Паралимпиады Хетаг Хинчагов был удостоен ордена Дружбы. Серебряный призер Игр Алан Кокойты награжден медалью ордена «За заслуги перед Отечеством» I степени. Медали ордена «За заслуги перед Отечеством» II степени были присвоены бронзовым призерам Георгию Маргиеву и Виктории Слановой.
