При осмотре дома обнаружили закрытую дверь — хозяин твердил, что её невозможно открыть. Но, когда понял, что полицейские не уйдут, попросил тех, кто был в комнате, выйти. После этих слов бандиты начали стрельбу.
Позднее выяснилось, что хозяин дома — родственник одного из скрывавшихся. Нападавшие сбежали.
