Предмет разработали Минэкологии и Минобразования региона. Практическую экологию начнут преподавать у 1 и 2 классов — книги раздадут 100 тысячам детей. А в 2022 году издадут пособия для 3 и 4 классов и тематические книжки-сказки для дошкольников.
Организовывать выпуск пособий будут за счет благотворителей.
