Суд в столице провозгласил приговор фигуранту по делу о мошенничестве в особо крупном размере

Приговором Бутырского районного суда города Москвы Сечкарев Александр Сергеевич признан виновным в совершении 20 преступлений, предусмотренных ч. 4 ст. 159 УК РФ.

Суд окончательно назначил наказание в виде ограничения свободы на срок 5 лет 6 месяцев, с отбыванием наказания в исправительной колонии общего режима.
Сечкарев А.С. взят под стражу в зале суда.

Судом частично удовлетворены гражданские иски потерпевших.

The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes. It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists." Multiple pro-Kremlin media figures circulated the post's false claims, including prominent Russian journalist Vladimir Soloviev and the state-controlled Russian outlet RT, according to the DFR Lab's report. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations.
