Губернатор Игорь Бабушкин во время прямой линии сообщил о положительных результатах в борьбе с данной проблемой.
Он отметил, что количество обращений по поводу бродячих собак существенно сократилось. С начала текущего года было поймано свыше 7 тысяч животных, которые прошли чипирование и стерилизацию. Примерно 2 тысячи собак нашли новых хозяев или были возвращены к старым владельцам. Демонстрировавшие агрессию особи не возвращаются в прежнюю среду обитания, заверил глава региона.
Бабушкин добавил, что для муниципалитетов выделены субвенции в размере 303 миллионов рублей на отлов и содержание животных. Снижение численности бесхозных собак подтверждается словами депутата Евгения Дунаева, который утверждает, что ситуация улучшилась, так как на улицах начали появляться кошки, подчеркнул глава региона.
