На опубликованных фотографиях видно, что, помимо цветов, секретарь отделения «Единой России» Анна Махунова и глава Полярных Зорь Максим Ченгаев вручили матерям погибших солдат мясорубки.
Всероссийскую акцию к 8 марта назвали «Цветы мамам Героев», ее проводят по инициативе женского движения «Единой России».
