В возрасте 88 лет скончался Борис Спасский, десятый чемпион мира по шахматам. Родившийся 30 января 1937 года в Ленинграде, Спасский стал чемпионом мира в 1969 году, победив Тиграна Петросяна.
Он также был двукратным чемпионом СССР и десятикратным участником шахматных Олимпиад. После эмиграции во Францию в 1976 году, Спасский вернулся в Россию в 2012 году.
