Я перерыл, кажется, весь интернет тогда и сейчас в поисках хоть какой-то информации о том, что же это за обувь. И только сейчас мне приходит в голову мысль, что это — может быть, авторский неологизм; вот так вот намеренно косо переданное на русский язык слово «дзабыр»? Я перевёл примечание Коста («обувь»), и с опорой на некоторые исторические источники позволил добавить своё — rawhide boots (обувь из сыромятной кожи).
