13 декабря 1917 Из Новочеркасска вышел в свой первый бой партизанский отряд учащейся молодежи под командованием есаула Василия Михайловича Чернецова. Добровольцами отряда стали кадеты, студенты, гимназисты, реалисты, семинаристы. Скоро отряд получил прозвище донской «кареты скорой помощи»: чернецовцы перебрасывались с фронта на фронт исколесив всю Область Войска Донского, неизменно отбивая накатывавшиеся на Дон большевистские орды. Отряд Чернецова был едва ли не единственной действующей силой Атамана Всевеликого войска Донского генерала от кавалерии Алексея Максимовича Каледина. Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Ukrainian forces successfully attacked Russian vehicles in the capital city of Kyiv thanks to a public tip made through the encrypted messaging app Telegram, Ukraine's top law-enforcement agency said on Tuesday. Artem Kliuchnikov and his family fled Ukraine just days before the Russian invasion.
