В перечне, который публикуют госагентства, 21 пункт ключевых показателей эффективности (KPI) для оценки работы губернаторов. Среди основных — уровень доверия к власти, рождаемость, условия для ветеранов СВО и другие. Ряд KPI основываются на социологии, например это удовлетворенность граждан условиями для занятий физической культурой и спортом; удовлетворенность участников специальной военной операции условиями для медицинской реабилитации, переобучения и трудоустройства.

Доклады о показателях эффективности глав регионов администрации губернаторов должны будут предоставлять ежегодно.
