Больше, чем ежевика, меня в переводе преследуют только овцы.

В книжке, которую мы с Юлей сейчас переводим, есть коза Baarbara. Попробуйте произнести вслух.

Никаких специфически козьих дел она не делает, только ходит к ветеринару. Думаю, ее функция — внести в книгу смешинку, нельзя же все делать на серьезных щах.

Мы тут же придумали назвать ее Беерта, чтобы русскоговорящий читатель понял, что в имени не опечатка, а блеяние.

Секундочку… Блеют овцы, а козы мекают!

Первый порыв: переименовать свежеиспеченную Беерту в Меелиссу или Мееланию. Но там ударение падает не туда, куда надо.

Поэтому решили поменять Беерте видовую принадлежность, она у нас теперь овца🧹

P.S в этой книге, к счастью, нет ежевики (но есть рябина). Зато ежевика была в тексте для CWS🍓🫐
