❗️В Калининграде начались работы по демонтажу советского символа города – Дома советов, построенного на месте Кёнигсбергского замка.

«Клопс» пишет, что по контракту с подрядчиком работы по сносу Дома советов займут 14 месяцев, их стоимость – 128 млн. руб. Что именно построят на месте одного из самых знаменитых недостроев России – пока неизвестно, конкурс по разработке концепции для застройки продолжается.

Строительство 21-этажного Дома советов началось в 1970 году после того, как власти окончательно отказались от восстановления руин Кёнигсбергского замка. Во второй половине 80-х годов, когда здание было готово на 95%, строительные работы приостановили. После этого 30 лет незавершенное здание пустовало. Власти рассматривали различные варианты его использования, в том числе снос и восстановление замка.
