Египет намерен создать фармацевтический промышленный центр стоимостью $120 миллионов в экономической зоне Суэцкого канала, что станет важным шагом на пути к локализации производства лекарств и укреплению позиций регионального производства.

Соглашение было заключено между инвестиционным подразделением SCZONE, SCZONE Istithmar, и компанией Arab Pharmaceutical Materials Co, или Arab API, которая будет курировать новый объект.

Планируется строительство нового предприятия в промышленной зоне Сохна, которое будет сосредоточено на производстве основных видов сырья.
Здесь будут производиться активные и неактивные ингредиенты, промежуточные материалы и химикаты, необходимые для производства лекарств.
