Женщинам в неволе всегда сложнее. Это относится как к нынешним временам, так и к периоду советских репрессий. За время существования ГУЛАГа через исправительные лагеря прошли миллионы женщин, однако их голоса меньше слышны.

В рамках празднования Дня памяти политических репрессий показываем фильм об этом. «Женщины ГУЛАГа» — картина американского производства, снятая российской режиссеркой Марианной Яровской. В фильме представлены интервью с шестью героинями из разных частей бывшего Советского Союза.

Одна из женщин — Надежда Левитская (на первом фото), которая помогала А. И. Солженицину сохранять его произведения и переправлять на на Запад.

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels.
