Минниханов вместе с главой холдинга «Ак Барс» Иваном Егоровым, которого также признали нежелательной персоной, прибыли в Молдавию по приглашению руководства Гагаузии – тюркского автономного образования в составе РМ. Они должны были принять участие в работе Международного конгресса народной дипломатии «Дружба народов – 2023».
Напомним, во главе Молдавии стоит антироссийский президент Майя Санду, продвигающая программу румынизации страны и присоединения её к Румынии. Правительство страны также придерживается антироссийского курса.
