Можно посмотреть источники про Гаусса — русский он начал учить, чтобы в старости (60 лет) память крепить, потом втянулся, Лобачевского с удовольствием читал и тд. Никаких следов чтения Буняковского. То же про Бьенеме.
Видимо, известно было, что Бьенеме и Гаусс учили русский, а потом кто-то решил, что, раз они знали о существовании Буняковского, а последний написал книжку, то по ней и учили.
Итого, никаких свидетельств не нашёл, биографы Гаусса и Бьенеме не пишут ни о каком Буняковском.
