Изобильненский районный суд приговорил пятерых жителей Дагестана — Эльдара Джаякаева, Салима Джангишиева, Загира Джанхуватова, Абакара Джабраилова и Данияла Нурмагомедова — за участие в массовых беспорядках в аэропорту Махачкалы 29 октября 2023 года. Обвиняемые действовали на основе национальной и религиозной ненависти к гражданам Израиля, что привело к насилию и уничтожению имущества аэропорта на сумму более 24 млн рублей. В результате беспорядков 23 полицейских получили травмы различной степени тяжести. Суд назначил наказание в виде лишения свободы от 8 месяцев до 8 лет 8 месяцев с отбыванием в колонии общего режима.
