Коллектив отделения «Скорой медицинской помощи» Корсаковской центральной районной больницы первым начал участвовать в федеральной программе по массовому обучению населения навыкам оказания доврачебной помощи. На них корсаковцам разных возрастов рассказывают, что такое экстренное состояние и как можно помочь пострадавшему. В основном рассматривают такие случаи, как потеря сознания, попадание инородных предметов в дыхательные пути, кровотечение, электротравмы и другие. На декабрь в отделении запланированы еще 12 теоретических занятий. Пройти двухчасовой бесплатный курс может любой желающий. Для этого нужно записаться, позвонив в Корсаковскую ЦРБ. А в 2025 году такие курсы планируют ввести во всех больницах Сахалина и Курил.
