Никто из лично мне знакомых людей, кто ныне рвёт тельняху за Украину, в России жить не собирался. Ни "до Крыма", ни "после".
Вопрос всегда был только в том, "что позволят средства": кому то Латвию с Болгарией, кому то Лондон и Майами.
Покупали дома за границей, отправляли детей учиться, оформляли гражданство. Это считалось даже не нормальным, а как бы само собой разумеющимся.
Не вынося никаких суждений по этому поводу (ибо обычно годами общаюсь с человеком, не трогая политику), я всегда задавался вопросом, не думают ли они, что демонстративно не связывая свое будущее с "этой страной", они получат в результате, что и "эта страна" будет все больше делать будущее без них?
И, честно говоря, никогда не видел, чтобы такая простая причинно-следственная связь кому нибудь приходила в голову.
Воистину, иногда смотришь и удивляешься - "умный, умный, а дурак".

As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. But the Ukraine Crisis Media Center's Tsekhanovska points out that communications are often down in zones most affected by the war, making this sort of cross-referencing a luxury many cannot afford. Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. The regulator said it had received information that messages containing stock tips and other investment advice with respect to selected listed companies are being widely circulated through websites and social media platforms such as Telegram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram.
