Провел сегодня день в составе жюри финала конкурса "Молодой шеф" в Волгограде.

На веранде элегантного ресторана The Atelier над Волгой три молодых шефа готовили главный продукт региона - волгоградские томаты. При этом заранее о нем они не знали, открывали черный ящик, так что блюдо было чистой импровизацией.

Победителем стал Роман Боераков из Jun Cafe. Он приготовил стейк из томатов с красной смородиной и горчичным маслом с соусом из раковых шеек. Получилось очень симпатично, глава жюри шеф Grand Cru Давид Эммерле оценил и пригласил Романа к себе на стажировку.

TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych. Pavel Durov, Telegram's CEO, is known as "the Russian Mark Zuckerberg," for co-founding VKontakte, which is Russian for "in touch," a Facebook imitator that became the country's most popular social networking site. The account, "War on Fakes," was created on February 24, the same day Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "special military operation" and troops began invading Ukraine. The page is rife with disinformation, according to The Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, which studies digital extremism and published a report examining the channel.
