Депутаты парламента (Государственного совета - Хасэ) единогласно избрали путем тайного голосования на пост главы региона Мурата Кумпилова, руководящего республикой с 2017 года.
Церемония инаугурации состоялась в Государственной филармонии региона. В соответствии с законодательством ее провел председатель парламента Адыгеи Владимир Нарожный: «Мурат Каральбиевич Кумпилов вступил в должность главы Республики Адыгея».
