28-річному Едварду з Англії, який добровільно у 2022 році приїхав в Україну щоб рятувати людей, ампутували руку та ногу. Автівку на якій він вивозив цивільних з зони бойових дій росіяни атакували ФПВ дроном.

30 січня дрон окупантів влучив в авто громадської організації «База UA» під час евакуації місцевих жителів. В автівці перебували двоє працівників організації та двоє жителів Покровська.

Найважчих поранень дістав Едвард, який приїхав до України в 2022 році та вже три роки займався волонтерською діяльністю.
