В 1946 г научный журнал Nature публикует заметку про Академию наук СССР. Позже заметка оцифровывается, и из-за наложившейся надписи основатель российской академии Петр I, Peter the Great, превращается в Pei Kib Breat. Не поручик Киже, а целый император Пей Киб Брейт.
Осенью 2024 года в крупном научном журнале "Briefings in Bioinformatics" публикуется статья под названием Bioinformatics in Russia: history and present-day landscape ("Биоинформатика в России: история и современное состояние"). В ней томские авторы Мухаммад Наваз, Игорь Памирский и Кирилл Голохваст указывают, что начало российской биоинформатики было положено еще этим самым Pei Kib Breat. Читатели статьи нашли еще как минимум 6 несуществующих ссылок на ненайденные публикации. По таким ключевым признакам можно предположить, что ведущим соавтором томских ученых была некая Крупная Языковая Модель, в просторечии AI-балаболка.
Полагаю, что статья очень хорошо отражает современное состояние российской биоинформатики, и зря затеяли ее отзыв.

The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform.
