In the stories God tells, salvation comes from the unlikliest places. A boat built in a desert, an imprisoned prophet who interprets dreams, a fugitive prince at the Red Sea, a yougest son employed as a shepherd, and yes, as a little baby born in a stable, and yes, on a cross with pierced hands and side.
But it all makes sense in the end, and afterwards we can't imagine the story playing out any differently. God still works this way in our lives today. "He has chosen the foolish things to shame the wise" (1 Cor. 1:27).

I want a secure messaging app, should I use Telegram? Telegram was founded in 2013 by two Russian brothers, Nikolai and Pavel Durov. Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram. For Oleksandra Tsekhanovska, head of the Hybrid Warfare Analytical Group at the Kyiv-based Ukraine Crisis Media Center, the effects are both near- and far-reaching. Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. Standard conversations use the MTProto method, enabling server-client encryption but with them stored on the server for ease-of-access. This makes using Telegram across multiple devices simple, but also means that the regular Telegram chats you’re having with folks are not as secure as you may believe.
