Согласно данным Росстата, в 2022 году в России 4 583 несовершеннолетних ребенка вступили в брак, 4059 девочек и 524 мальчика. При этом возраст жениха в подобных браках значительно выше возраста несовершеннолетней невесты, тогда как мальчики женятся преимущественно на ровесницах.

Эксперты уверены, что это лишь часть статистики; реальная цифра может быть в разы больше за счет культурных особенностей, обычаев разных народов страны и отсутствии данных о фактически брачных отношениях, которые не регистрируются официально.
