Ещё не было Майдана, Сочинской олимпиады и последующего за ней отжатия Крыма и Донбасса. Ещё возможны были митинги и протесты против власти в рф.
А этот персонаж к тому моменту уже отвалился/отпал/расторг отношения с бывшей страной, в которой прожил большую часть своей жизни. Хотя, так говорят «со страной», а на самом деле с государством, с режимом.
И эта заметка, пробная, тестовая, при открытии нового канала о Японии, который посвящается жизни в ней, людям местным и приезжим, для того, чтобы в первую очередь подчеркнуть различие между страной, Родиной, как бы ни пафосно это для меня звучало, с одной стороны и государством, режимом - с другой.

Telegram was co-founded by Pavel and Nikolai Durov, the brothers who had previously created VKontakte. Voice and video calls are also completely encrypted. Since its launch in 2013, Telegram has grown from a simple messaging app to a broadcast network. Its user base isn’t as vast as WhatsApp’s, and its broadcast platform is a fraction the size of Twitter, but it’s nonetheless showing its use. While Telegram has been embroiled in controversy for much of its life, it has become a vital source of communication during the invasion of Ukraine.
