Обновленный абхазский сектор в театре "Алашара" показал зрителю спектакль по бытовой драме Дзадза Дарсалия "В глухой старине".

В 1929 году открыта первая абхазская театральная студия. Ее руководителем и преподавателем официально назначен режиссер и педагог Василий Домогаров. Вместе с Кондратом Дзидзария Василий Домогаров отобрал в абхазских селах талантливых молодых людей, ставших первыми профессиональными актерами: Азиз Агрба, Разанбей Агрба, Лео Касландзия, Шарах Пачалия, Екатерина Шакирбай, Анна Аргун-Коношок, Мута Кове и другие.
